The Wellness Centre has been named, The Dr Peter Burke Wellness Centre, In honour of Dr Peter Burke. The centre honours his legacy and acts as a reminder of professional integrity and medical excellence. It was officially opened in a ceremony on May 20, 2021. Thank you to our CEO Dr Tom Wenkart, Dr Lionel Chang, Prof Andrew Strokon and Mrs Helen Burke for your heart felt and entertaining speeches.
The hospital wing features large private rooms with ensuites, a brand new rehabilitation gym and a hydrotherapy pool for overnight and day patients. We are pleased to be offering these upgraded facilities to the communities of the Inner West.
